Hiya, I'm Kathryn!
Nitty Gritty: I am a global citizen (ref. Damon Dominique) who loves creative + strategic thinking. Presenting is my jam, and lists are my love language. My favorite thing about the marketing/advertising industry is its cultural impact: the way it can influence society, spark conversation, and inspire cultural shifts. This industry has the opportunity to connect with audiences in incredibly cool, innovative ways. I want to be a part of that.
At the end of the day, I want to connect with and inspire people by meeting them at the intersection of art, culture, and brand strategy. I want to tell stories that truly feel like the brands behind them: rooted in values, what they stand for, and where they want to go. Forget the brain-rot noise or stuff that makes you feel small. Definitely none of that "pink it and shrink it" 💩. Give me thoughtful. Give me curious. Give me a piece of art that, oh yeah, this is actually marketing btw.
I've had the pleasure of working in some incredible spaces: outdoor recreation, tourism & hospitality, higher education, and even disability support services. I've had a ball and plan on continuing to do just that :)
Am I willing to travel for work? Hell yeah. Girl, send me abroad!
Say hey and gimme a holler.
Howdy, Hola, Kia ora, Xin Chao, G'day, Sawasdee kaaa!
The Best Bits
I am a genre-fluid music enthusiast, coffee addict, Harry Styles fangirl, nature lover, among-the-flowers frolicker, and international backpacker. If you ever want to find cute, trendy coffee shops or gush over dream destinations, then I AM YOUR GAL.
My dream job is to be in a girl band equivalent of One Direction (I'd probably be the Niall of the group), but while waiting on that, I finished a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with a concentration in digital advertising from LSU (during the pandemic - YIKES!)
Traveling has a special place in my heart. I am lucky enough to have visited 19 countries so far. I studied in both Scotland and Italy, did a working holiday in Australia, and backpacked around Europe and SE Asia.
